This is Parvin Davari, Ph.D. in Ancient Iranian History from the University of Isfahan, with a specialized focus on legal history and women’s studies during the Sasanian period. My academic trajectory in this field began with the defense of my Master’s thesis at the University of Tehran, titled ‘A Comparative Study of Family Law in Zoroastrianism and Islam up to the 7th Century AH.’ My undergraduate background in Islamic Jurisprudence and the Principles of Law (Fiqh) from the University of Tehran, when integrated with historical inquiry, has established a rigorous foundation for the critical re-examination of jurisprudential-legal texts and the development of in-depth comparative analyses. My primary objective is to contribute to the advancement of historical scholarship through a rigorous, analytical, and interdisciplinary approach.
